Rational Suite5/4 - IBM announced Rational Suite, v2003.06.12, which adds new or enhanced support for PowerBuilder as well as WebSphere Studio, Eclipse, Linux, DB2, Microsoft Visual C++ and .NET, EMC VMWare, Oracle Forms, and Borland Delphi.

Sprint5/20 - Sprint announced two new services built on the M-Business Anywhere mobile application platform from iAnywhere Solutions, a subsidiary of Sybase. Sprint Mobile Loan Officer will allow bank employees to process loans, establish accounts, transfer funds, and complete other financial transactions using wireless handheld devices certified to operate on the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network. Sprint Mobile Claims Adjustor will allow insurance claims adjustors to process claims on-site using wireless handheld devices. Sprint Mobile Claims Adjustor will be compatible with any data-capable wireless handheld device certified to operate on the enhanced Sprint Nationwide PCS Network, including ruggedized equipment often used in the insurance industry.
Microdec
5/10 - iAnywhere Solutions, a subsidiary of Sybase, announced that Microdec Plc selected SQL Anywhere Studio for its Profile 2000 application. Microdec's Profile 2000 application is designed to meet the needs of global professional recruitment consultancies and manages the entire recruitment process from the initial registration of a client to hiring an applicant.

Siebel 7
5/3 - iAnywhere Solutions, a subsidiary of Sybase, announced that the integration between its Mobile Sales version 2.1 and Siebel 7 has been successfully validated by Siebel Systems. With this validation, customers of Siebel Systems and iAnywhere can accelerate the adoption and return on investment from Siebel business applications by enabling field representatives to turn idle time into productive time through remote access to Siebel 7.
Dejima
5/2 - Sybase announced the completion of its acquisition of substantially all of the assets of Dejima, a provider of mobile access solutions using natural language interface technology. Sybase will integrate the Dejima assets into its iAnywhere Solutions subsidiary, adding patented technology that simplifies access to back-end data, applications, and information to its portfolio of mobile solutions.

Unwired Enterprise5/24 - Sybase received significant market endorsement for its Unwired Enterprise strategy at the company's annual North American Partner Summit by a partner ecosystem that sees a growing demand for information management, development, integration, and mobilization solutions for "anytime, anywhere" access to enterprise data. Capinfo
5/19 - Sybase announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Capinfo, a systems integrator in China, with the view to cooperating on wireless infrastructure and IT projects in Beijing and other cities. With this relationship, Sybase and Capinfo target consideration to serve as the wireless community provider for the Beijing Olympics 2008 and other projects.
LPGA Sybase Classic
5/18 - Sybase announced that it continues to support the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) in its fourth annual title sponsorship of the Sybase Classic and serves as the official wireless software provider of the LPGA. In addition, Sybase unveiled the new Sybase Classic AvantGo channel, delivering tournament information and results to PDA and SmartPhone users worldwide.
West Point Donation
5/10 - Sybase announced that it donated technology products with a value of $10.3 million to the United States Military academy at West Point. The software, to be provided over the next 10 years, will allow the academy to establish a Wireless Computing Lab using Sybase products and enable West Point to implement any of Sybase's technology solutions based on the academy's assessment of its requirements. In addition, Sybase will provide consulting services with a value of $300,000 over the next three years to assist the academy in implementing technology solutions using Sybase products.
FINANCIAL FUSION
First Citizens Bank5/10 - Financial Fusion, a subsidiary of Sybase, announced that First Citizens Bank, a top 100 U.S. bank with more than $12 billion in assets, had licensed the complete Financial Fusion Banking Suite. The suite will provide First Citizens with a single, enterprise-wide platform to offer online services and products to retail and business cash management customers.
